Cure Tribute Band Rocks WW2 Tribute Sim!

Today, vips at Amelias' Pilot Lounge were treated to a special treat--a Cure Tribute Band Concert! Guests partied at the pre-concert event, which featured DJ Anakin playing 2 hours of rock tunes and host Amy keeping everyone happy with jokes and of course vip tags! Over 5,000L's Raised for ALS(Lou Gehrigs' Disease)!

Last Friday, the Flying Tigers had their first of two fundraisers this past weekend for ALS (Lou Geherigs' Disease). Friday's fundraiser included DJ Anakin and Host Tamil! The fundraiser was held at Amelia's Pilot Lounge.  Below are photos from this event:

Events continued on Sunday, with another day of fundraising and a Nickleback Tribute Band Concert! The combined days of fundraising, raised over 5,000L's for ALS! Below are photos of this event:

We are pleased to announce our Tribute Band concert schedule for the month of May:

Sunday May 20, 2012 - Linkin Park Tribute Band (12pm slt)


Sunday May 27, 2012 - Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute Band (2pm slt)

Easter Party Recap!

Yesterday, guests were treated to a special Madness Tribute Band Concert and had the chance to hunt for prize eggs at our 4 hour Easter party! Events started with DJ Cathlace and Host Amy providing fun and great music with a special 2 hour pre show!  The Madness Tribute Band  later took the stage, delighting everyone with their funny and popular tunes that made them British icons! Updated Tribute Band Concert Schedule!

Amelia's Pilot Lounge is pleased to announce three new tribute band concerts that will be coming to our WW2 Memorial Park! Below is the schedule:

• Sunday, March 25, 2012 - 12pm slt - Aerosmith Tribute Band Concert
• Sunday, April 8, 2012 - 12pm slt - Madness Tribute Band Concert
• Sunday, April 22, 2012 - 12pm slt - Iron Maiden Tribute Band Concert

Before each tribute band concert, there is always a special pre-concert show that kicks off at 10 am slt and with a loaded contest board so you can win free lindens as you party and rock it out with us! Motley Crue Tribute Concert Recap!

Yesterday, guests and vips in our sims were treated to a rocking event--a Motley Crue Tribute Band Concert at WW2 Memorial Park! Events kicked off at 10 am slt with a 90 minute pre concert show with DJ Anakin playing 100% metal tunes! The Motley Crue Tribute Band hit the stage around noon and kept everyone dancing to their favorite tunes and of course gawking at SL's version of Tommy Lee! Check out photos in the slide show below:

Van Halen Tribute Band Concert Weekend Recap!

This past weekend was Van Halen Tribute Band Concert Weekend for Amelias! Events kicked of on Saturday night, with a 2 hour event with DJ Anakin and yours truly as host! DJ Anakin packed the bar and sim with a record 92 avis! Check out photos of Saturday's record breaking set:

On Sunday, VIP's returned from the previous day of partying and danced at Sunday's Metal Morning event, with DJ Anakin and Host Cathlace, as they prepared for the Van Halen Tribute Band to arrive.  After this event, the Van Halen Tribute Band hit the staged and played some of their best and familiar tunes! AC/DC Tribute Band Concert Weekend Recap!

This weekend, an AC/DC Tribute Band concert came to our WW2 Memorial Park!  Events kicked off Saturday, with a 2 hour event featuring DJ Anakin &  Host Jessi!  Guests danced for 2 hours to 1980's rock tunes:

On Sunday, guests were treated to a special 90 min pre concert show with DJ Anakin and Host Cathlace.  Guests danced to 90 minutes of modern rock tunes!  At 1145 am slt the AC/DC tribute band hit the stage and guests danced to some of their favorite AC/DC tunes!  Check out photos in the slide show below:

We have a busy weekend of events scheduled!  This weekend is AC/DC Tribute Band weekend!  Below is a schedule of events:

4pm to 6pm slt - DJ Crysis with Host Jessi

-SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2012
10am to 1145 am slt -DJ Anakin with Host Cathlace

1145 am to 130 pm slt -AC/DC Tribute Band Concert
